Dear Mr. Wagner (I have a friend in San Diego with the same name!),

I have a sealed bottle of White Horse No.YA 78547 with the original box. Having read and researched a little bit on the subject I don't think it is worth more than it would be to drink. If you could confirm this I will proceed to enjoy it with friends (you're invited too if you're in the San Francisco Bay Area anytime soon, I don't want to drink a thousand dollar bottle of scotch though by mistake, I'm not enough of a drinker to appreciate it!).

You are right...enjoy it for the holidays with family and friends.  It's worth closer to $30 than $300.  

And thanks for the invitation--I live a little north of SF...in Wine COuntry...so I will let you enjoy this one in peace!
