Question
Hi,
Some years ago I had the distinct pleasure of tasting a polish honey wine by the name of WAWEL honey wine, that was in Brooklyn NY, I have since tried in vane to find said wine,.Any help, or is the Mfg no longer in existance?
Steve

Answer
Hi Stephen

Wawel is actually a type of flavored honey-wine ( or mead ) made in Poland and named for a legendary dragon of that region.  The best importer carries a couple of different version of flavored mead, and the best advice I can give you is to contact them directly; Here is  link to their webpage about the Polish products they import:

Hope that helps!
