Question
Hi Paul, my dad has an old (unopened) bottle of white horse whisky (old label with a serial number on back). We were wondering approximately how old this bottle is and if there is any value to it. I have attached a picture.  Thank you for any input!

Answer
Hi Denise

Distilled spirits like these are so high in alcohol that they don't change much over time.  They good news is that they don't go bad.  The bad news is that they really don't appreciate in value.  Your bottle is worth just about what a current bottling is worth--and no more. I can't really tell how old the bottle is...but this is true even if the bottle were more than fifty years old.

Sorry I can't give you more exciting news
