Question
I have acquired a bottle of the above, very old pale. The top is a flip design covered by a blue seal, the number on the back of the label which you can see through the brandy is I think 154148C. I would be grateful of any value connected with this bottle. It is in perfect condition and never been opened.

Answer
Hi Chris

Distilled spirits like this don't change much over time the way some wines do--the alcohol level is too high.  So the good news is that this one is perfectly good to drink; but the bad news is that it hasn't changed much, or appreciated in value.  It's worth about what a current bottling of the same product is worth.

Sorry I can't give you more exciting news.
