Question
1967 is stamped on the bottle. It has never been opened. Is it safe to drink?

Yes. Distilled products like this are so high in alcohol that they really don't change much over time, once they have been bottled. It's safe to drink---but it won't have appreciated in value. It will probably taste almost exactly the way it did 40 years ago.
