Question
I HAVE A BOTTLE OF MOSELBLUECHEN,DATED 1955.IS IT SAFE TO DRINK AND IS IT OF ANY VALUE?

Answer
Hi Carmella

I am sorry to have to tell you that this bottle is far too old to have any value.  These wines were made to drink relatively young, and some of them may have lasted ten years or so...but this one is over fifty year old.  It won't hurt you--the alcohol and acidity of wine generally protects it against most pathogens--but it won't taste very good.

SOrry I can't give you better news
