Question
We have in our possession a hunting lodge painting on vitrolite copyright 1909 displaying I W HARPER WHISKEY by BERNHEIM Dist. Co. Have you ever known such advertisement paintings to exist?

These kinds of paintings were often done as marketing/merchandising campaigns for all the big distilleries. I am an expert in the beverages, but not in their artwork! I'd drop a note to the guys at antiquebottles.com. They are collectors of these kinds of artefacts, and can tell you if yours is particularly valuable, or just a nice decoration. You might even find a photo of yours on their site.
