Question
My husband and I were given a bottle of Jack Daniels that is
in a very unique bottle that has the seal across the top of
it and dipped in wax, it was made in 19? Don't know for sure
but it is 90 proof  and 1.75 Liters with a sticker on it
that says bottle #8 and initials on it.  How much is this
bottle worth?  Thanks Christina

Answer
Hi Christina

In general, distilled spirits like this don't change much in the bottle--the alcohol levels are too high.  So the good news is that this is perfectly good to drink.  The bad news is that it won't have appreciated in value the way that some fine wines do.  This one would probably sell for about what a current release of the same product sells for today. I'd go ahead and drink it.

Sorry that I don't have any better news for you.
