Question
IS A 1968 UNOPENED BOTTLE OF CROWN ROYAL --STILL IN VELVET BAG-- OF ANY VALUE---WE FOUND IT MY HUSANDS GRANDFATHERS HOME.
THANKS, SUSAN

Answer
Hi Susan

Distilled spirits like this don't change much in the bottle, for better or worse, because the alcohol levels are so high.  The good news is that this bottle should be just fine to drink.  The bad news is that it won't have appreciated in value the way some fine wines do.  I'd guess that this would sell for about what a current bottling of the same project would fetch.

My advice would be to drink it---or give it to someone who likes Crown Royal.

Sorry that I can't give you more exciting news.
