Beverages/Vourvoisier Cognac

Question
Dear Mr. Wagner: I have a bottle of Courvoisier Three Star Luxe Cognac in a dark wood cannon-type cradle and would like to know something about it, and possibly a ballpark value. Are you able to assist me?

Distilled spirits like this are so high in alcohol that they don't change much in the bottle, for better or worse. The good news is that this should be perfectly good to drink. The bad news is that it won't have appreciated in value the way some fine wines do. This is worth just about as much as a current bottling of decent cognac. The cannon bottling seems to sell for around $35-50 or so on ebay, when I have seen it there.
