Question
Dear Sir:
I have a very nice cardboard case containing a Bottle of Denis Mounie & Co "Edoward VII" Fine Champagne Cognac in perfect condition with seal, label, stamps & etc, including also four small Cognac glasses. I don't remember the year of production right now. I can find out if necessary since it is in my Summer Home.
Please let me have the average value of it. Or if not, a source where I might be able to inquire.
Thank you very much,
Best regards,
William

Answer
Hi William

Distilled spirits like this don't change much over time in the bottle, because the alcohol level is too high.  The good news is that yours should be fine to drink.  The bad news is that it won't have appreciated in value the way some fine wines do.  I'd estimate the value of this bottle at about $35 or so.

Sorry that I can't give you more exciting news
