We have an old bottle of White Horse Whiskey from our Grandfather and would like to find out the date and the worth.
There is a number printed on the bottle
6284042
The label also reads "by appointment to her majesty the queen"
Can you perhaps help us find more information.
Thanking you in advance!
Answer HI tanya,
The fact that is by appointment to the queen tells it is labeled after 1952, anything before this period is by app to the king.
after that is is difficult as the numbers are different per bottle. when your bottle has a clip-top closure, you can see this from two iron part on the top, the bottle is more expensive then without this.
you can see some labels in my earlier answered questions about white horse.
the value depends of course of the condition, It will be helpful when you could post a picture.
