I was just wondering if there is a place where you can advertise of sale or auction off brandy

It's illegal for private citizens to sell alcoholic beverages in the USA, so your options are limited.  You can offer it for sale to a local wine or liquor store---they may pay you for it, or simply offer to trade you something else for your bottle. You can also try using an auction house like Bonham and Butterfields.  Bear in mind that either way, you are not going to get the full retail value of the bottle...

One last option is to offer the bottle for sale on ebay--but to make it very clear that you are selling a collectible, not for consumption.  I don't know if this works, but people do it all the time!

Finally, one last note---I am not an attorney.  These are suggestions, but if you are concerning about staying completely within the laws of your local state, you should consult with an attorney there.
