Question
Hi Paul
I have a sealed 4/5 quart bottle of V.S.O.P Courvoisier Cognac from the early 1970's. It's a greenish bottle with a gold label. I was wondering what it's worth.  thank you    Mike

Answer
Hi Mike

Distilled spirits like this don't change much over time in the bottle, because the alcohol level is so high.  The good news is that yours should be fine to drink.  The bad news is that it won't have appreciated in value the way some fine wines do.  I'd estimate this at about what a current bottle would cost:  Maybe $35-45.

Sorry that I can't give you more exciting news.
