Beverages/wine value

Question
I have a bottle of Julius Kayser & Co. Liebfraumilch Glockenspiel 1955 and a bottle of Chateau Luduiraut Sauternes 1928.  I'm pretty sure the contents of both bottles is undrinkable, but do the bottles themselves (labels good shape) have any collectable value?  Thank you for your time.

Answer
Hi Dee

The Julius Kayser won't have any value at all--it was an inexpensive wine when it was made, and hasn't appreciated in value.  IT is way past its prime.

But the Chateau Suduiraut is a very famous Sauternes, and 1928 was a pretty darn good year.  It's still a crap shoot at this point as to whether it is still good, but I would take it to a reputation wine auction house and talk to them about it.  It could be worth hundreds of dollars.

Good luck!
