Courvosier LUXE
Hi Paul,

I have recently acquired a 1l bottle of Courvosier 3* LUXE Cognac (see image). I can't find much information about it. I don't think there is any great age to it and the only real identification is T.130981 which is on the box. I hope you can tell me a little bit about it Regards, Chris

Hi Chris

Courvoisier doesn't list this as among its products currently produced, but it si remarkably similar to their current VS Cognac.  That's not a tremendously expensive one, but it is still nice stuff--it won a Gold Medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition, and a double gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits competition.  

I'd estimate the value of this at about $50--but I would also drop a note to the nice folks at Courvoisier themselves.  You can reach them at this website:  http://www.courvoisier.com/en/700_correspondence2.asp
