Beverages/Veraņa Y Cia

Question
Hello,
I am wondering if you may have heard of this Liquor. I was given two very old and beautiful, full bottles of a Spanish liquor by an elderly neighbour of mine who collects bottles.
The Liquor is called 'Veraņa', which I've discovered means 'Summer' in Spanish. And underneath it says 'The Liqueur of Spain'.
The Company who made it or make it, is Veraņa Y Cia. Sevilla, which I am assuming is a company in Seville.
Apart from the above information I know nothing else about it, except she told me that she got them sometime around 1930, I think, perhaps 1933. I could be wrong as it was about 3 years ago when she gave it to me.
The bottles were sealed except for one, which had had the label over the lid ripped off, I've had a tiny/minute sip of it and it tastes somewhat like 'Kahlua' and has in no way 'spoiled' over the years.
Any ideas?
On the back it claims to be 'Hailed by connoisseurs the world over'.
Much appreciated,

Veraņa isn't really Spanish for summer--that's verano. But clearly the liqueur wants to trade on that association. The bottle shaped is vaguely reminiscent of the architecture of the Torre del Oro in Sevilla...one of its more famous monuments. I don't know if this liqueur was ever sold in Spain--it may have just been designed for the UK and Australian markets. It originally sold for about $10, and I don't think collectors would be willing to pay much more for it now. There was a bottle on ebay a while back for over $100--but it never sold.
Distilled spirits like this don't improve with age, because the alcohol levels are so high. Yours should be fine to drink, but it won't have appreciated in value the way some fine wines do.
hope that helps. And I'm sorry I don't have more exciting news for you.
