Question

old white horse bottle
I have a bottle of very old White Horse with the original box.  It looks very old.  The bottle is about 3/4 full.  I was wondering how old it is and if it is worth anything.  It is missing the label around the neck, but the front and back labels are mostly intact.
The no. on the label is 3405895.
Thank you.

Distilled spirits like this are so high in alcohol that they don't change much over time in the bottle.  The good news is that yours should be perfectly good to drink.  The bad news is that it won't have appreciated in value the way some fine wines do.  If it were unopnened, I'd guess this one is worth about what a currently botting would be worth--something under $30.  As it is, it would be less than that.

The bottle itself might be worth more than the liquid inside.  You could check with the guys at antiquebottles.com to see if people find these collectible.

I am sorry that I can't give you more exciting news.
