Question

100 pipers
I bought 100 pipers scotch whiskey. Unscrew the top and there is a strange setup in there. see attached. To be able to pour it i had to break that strange setup. Is there a way to open it. Terry

Answer
Hi Terry

This is a closure that is usually used in bars.  Turn the bottle completely upside down, and the liquor will flow out at a very slow and measured rate.  Most of them  even have a mechanism to regulate the pour, so that you get exactly one ounce, or one and a half, ounces.

There is no way to remove this from the bottle easily---but it does work....just not the way you are accustomed to having a bottle work!
