Question

Dear Paul, could you please take a look at the photos of my cognac and give me a value on them? The Greek tax seal is dated 1968 but I can't see any other dates on the bottle. Thank you very much.
Best wishes
Teresa

Answer
Hi Teresa

In general, distilled spirits like this don't change much in the bottle--the alcohol levels are too high.  SO the good news is that this is perfectly good to drink.  The bad news is that it won't have appreciated in value the way that some fine wines do.  This one would probably sell for about what a current release of the same product sells for today.

Sorry that I don't have any better news for you.
