Question

BENEDICTINE D.O.M
I have read as much as I could have on the subject of the bottle at hand but can not find one like this. The following things are different about this bottle as compared to most. It has a spanish tax label. All of the wording is in french, and the alcohol volume is written "43 degres" not proof. I have a attached a picture please reply as soon as you can. Thank you.

Answer
HI Arthur

It's a bottle for sale in Spain...bottled in France and shipped to Spain.  Sadly, distilled spirits and liqueurs like this are so high in alcohol that they don't change much, for better or for worse, over time.  The good news is that yours is fine to drink.  THe bad news is that it won't have appreciated in value the way some fine wines do.  This would sell for about what a current bottling is worth.

I am sorry that I can't give you more exciting news.
