Beverages/Preprobition Liquor collection

Question
I have a collection of preprobition liquor approx. 3 cases of several different brands.  They are still in the original wooden box.  I am looking for a buyer for this collection.  My Dad bought it over 35 years ago.  I also have many decanter bottles that are very old and I am also looking to sell them.  Any info you could give me would be greatly appreciated.  Cheryl

Answer
Hi Cheryl

In general, distilled spirits like this are so high in alcohol that they don't change much in the bottle, for better or worse.  The good news is that they should be perfectly good to drink.  The bad news is that they won't have appreciated in value the way some fine wines do.  These are probably  worth just about as much as a current bottling of similar products.

But your bottles may have more value than the liquid inside.  I would check with the guys at antiquebottles.com to see what they say.  They are the experts in collectible bottles, and maybe they can find something here.

Sorry that I can't give you more exciting news.
