hi i have a bottle of hennessy cognac ( paradis), in a presentation box 40.vol 0.701 markings on bottom of bottle are(sg bc s ) it comes with printed card (private vist to hennessy) would like to know the value,can you help many thanks colin

This is the real deal--a very fine Cognac from a great producer.  I am a little confused about the markings on the bottle.  IF it is a 750ml bottle (the size of a normal wine bottle--although Paradis has its own designer bottle!) then a retailer might sell it for around $700.  OF course, as a private individual, you won't be able to do so well...but still, it's lovely stuff.

If it is the smaller, (50ml) bottle, then I've seen those for sale for around $150.  

You'll have to work out with a local retailer or auction house on how to sell this--and if you do that, they will charge a commission.

If you are on very hard times, selling it is certainly an option.  But if it were mine, and I didn't need to sell it, I would open it on a very special occasion and enjoy one of the world's great Cognacs
