Question Paul, I have an unopened bottle of 40 year old Courvoisier Cognac that was purchased in Saigon in 1965. It is in its original box. Can you give me an estimated value?
Thank you so much!
Answer Hi Ken
Distilled spirits like this are so high in alcohol that they don't change much, for better or worse, once they're in the bottle. The good news is that this is fine to drink. The bad news is thaat it hasn't appreciated in value the way some fine wines do. This is worth about as much as a current bottling--maybe $50+ US
