White Horse Bottle
White Horse Bottle
Hello Peter,

I have an unopened bottle of Old Blend Whiskey of The White Horse Cellar.
CONTENTS 26 1/2 OUNCES printed on bottom of front label.
Label states:
AGED IN WOOD
Bottled
1931
No. 2772779

I am attaching a couple of photos.

Am I correct in assuming this is an 82 year old bottle of Scotch?  Is it still drinkable?  Is this worth anything, say, at auction?  Or should I just open and enjoy?

Thank you.
Paul

Answer
Hello Paul,

you are right about the age of the bottle however not the contents. Whisky dos not age in the bottle so it is as old as it went in, about 8 years old.
You can still drink this without any trouble and it will also be good of taste ( when you like scotch)
as to the value, I expect you can get between 200 and 250 for this bottle.

Hope this helps

regards peter

ps let me know when you decide to sell it as I personally like this one.
