Beverages/B & B drinkable

Question
Recently I acquired an aged bottle of B & B from a deceased aunt.  It is corked but there are what looks to be cork floaters settled in the bottom.  Is this still drinkable?  I read the info from a previous asked question on value of the B & B-sounds like I have a similar bottle-quite large with a 43 degree mark on it.  Pardon my ignorance in this-I am not familiar with nor have found a good location to look such questions up.

Thanks for you help.

Answer
HI Vicki:

Yes, as long as the seal is unbroken, there is very little that can go wrong with something that is 43% alcohol.  It is probably old enough that the cork is deteriorating, but that won't really affect what's inside.

But at the same time, it isn't worth a lot of money because B&B doesn't improve with age...that alcohol preserves it too well!
