Question
what food goes well with benedictine?

Answer
Hi Brian:

Benedictine is a liqueur, and as such, it is usually served after dinner or for dessert.  It was originally developed by monks as a medicine--but it tastes too good to only drink when you are ill!

You might try it with chocolate, or even some desserts based on nuts, from pecan pie to candied walnuts. It is also great just on its own.
