Beverages/Cranberry Liqueur

QuestionWe used to enjoy Boggs Cranberry Liqueur. I have read several places that it is no longer available. Is this true? If so, is there another label of comparable quality? Thanks Paul. Eddie
AnswerMy friends in the retail business tell me that Boggs has gone the way of the horse and buggy. But there is another cranberry liqueur: BLACK DUCK CRANBERRY LIQUEUR. You can find it on the internet through this URL:

Or you can make you own. Here is a recipe from about.com's library of home cooking:
Cranberry Liqueur
Ingredients
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups vodka
1 can (16 ounces) jellied cranberry sauce
1 can (12 ounces) frozen cranberry-orange juice cocktail, thawed
1 cup half and half
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Cover and chill overnight to allow flavors to blend. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.
Yield: about 8 cups liqueur.
Have fun--and have a happy holiday!
