Hi Mr. Wagner,
I have reached a dead end in my hunt to prove my friend wrong about a beverage question.  I know I am right, but I figured having an expert on my side such as yourself would finally convince my buddy that I am not lying.  You're probably going to laugh at this question because it's so obscure and have no idea, but: Did they ever make an iced tea flavor gatorade?  I just don't know where to bgin my research and the gatorade company has been very uncooperative in my efforts.  Thanks.

Dear Mike:

First of all, shame on Gatorade for not answering your question.  That's just plain old bad customer service.

I'm afraid that I can't find any mention of a Gatorade Tea flavor--and when I have consulted my medical colleagues on the issue, they point out that caffein is a somewhat banned substance in athletics-- caffeinated beverages acctually  promote fluid loss, which is exactly what Gatorade tries to counteract.  Tea, of course, can contain faily high levels of caffein.  It seems unlikely that Gatorade would have a flavor that counters their primary focus.
