Question
Do you know what kind of juice is in the Grand Marnier Lalique.  Is it the same as the Grand Marnier 150, or is it more special I hope.  Any history or info on this product would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Broc

It is amazing that this was a big marketing promotion for Grand Marnier a while back, and yet the company itself can't provide much information about it.  The only thing I can find is that you can currently purchase this stuff for about $1000 on a couple of sites...and the value of the decanters seems to be about $500 on ebay.

Bu I am not sure that you can simply subtract one note from the other.  I do find records that Grand Marnier had a special cuvee at some point...but no records that this bottling included such a cuvee.

Sorry I can be more help--now I am as frustrated as you are!

I'll keep looking a bit...and let me know if you learn anything more, as well.
