QuestionI have a bottle divided in four sections. The top of the box says Garnier Liqueurs Enghien-Paris-France. The bottle has four different liquors with gold caps with a corkscrew attached to one of them. The contents are Liqueurs, Abricotine, Triple Sec and Prunelle. The bottom of the bottle says Brevette Depose and the end of the box says Flacon Quadrille made in France.
AnswerHI Bobbie
I had never seen one of these until a few months ago, when someone else asked about them, but they do get some attention among antique bottle collectors. Here is a note from one of them: "I know exactly what you are talking about. By an amazing coincidence I recently bought 2 such bottles at the Melrose House Antique Fair. (Please look in the Odds & Sods section) I estimate your bottle to be worth roughly S.A. R250 / R350. These bottle were a clever way of sampling the different wares available from a single distiller / manufacturer. Is it possible to send us a digital picture so that we may place the picture on the website. Regards Rod Comer
