Paul, I also have 200ML bottle of Seagrams VO Candian Whiskey with an orange sticker with the numbers F4884452-1974.

Can you tell me when the liquor bottle was filled and I've heard that the orange sticker is actually a tax sticker that used to be put on liquor bottles and no longer is used.  

If this is true about the orange/tax sticker when did Seagrams stop putting them on the bottles.

The bottle you have was probably filled in 1974--they put the tax sticker on it right after bottling, and they hate to pay tax before they have to!

I don't know when they stopped using these, but the bottle itself is not worth all that much.  There is a bottle of 1957 VO on ebay right now, full bottle, and it doesn't have a bid.  Opening bid is about $50...and nobody seems to be interested.  

SOrry to be the bearer of sad news...
