Question
I live in Washington state.  The State owns all liquor stores.  I have visited several searching for I.W. Harper bourbon and they all say the same thing, they don't have it. They are not even willing to order it. Can I purchase it from the distillery? Are there any mail order houses for this? Help...

Answer
Hi Chuck :

The only thing you can do is to contact IW Harper directly and see if you can get some help.  If the stuff is sold in Washington, then they should be able to give you the address of a store that has it.  If not, it won't be possible to order it via mail.

Your local stores may not wish to carry it because they would have to order a full case...and they may not believe that they could sell it in a reasonable time period.

By the way, I  W Harper is part of the Four Roses portfolio, which is made by Kirin and distributed by DIageo.  If you can find a store with Kirin beer, they can probably get the Bourbon as well.
