Question
I have an unopened bottle of Canadian masterpiece whiskey from 1968. Is it worth anything???

Answer
Hi Richard

Not really.  Distilled spirits like whiskey don't change (for better or for worse) because the alcohol levels are so high.  So your bottle should still taste pretty much the way it did when it was bottled.  But that also means that it doesn't have much value above what a current bottle of equivalent quality would sell for today.  I'd say that you might be able to get $35-50 if you found a really interested buyer...but you might have to work at it.

Sorry I don't have better news for you!
