Question
Paul,
I have a miniature set which includes seagrams,
extra dry gin, v.o,crown royal,100 pipers and seagrams
7 all sealed and in original box set dating 1956 on all the
seals what kind of value does this carry?
I also have numerous liquor bottles that are very old and would like to know of some where I could go to check the value.

Answer
Hi Mike

Because distilled spirits are so high in alcohol, they don't change much (for better or for worse) in the bottle the way some fine wines do.  As a result, they don't increase in value much, either.   These should all be fine to drink, but connoisseurs won't pay much more for these than for current releases.

But what you have might be interesting to bottle collectors.  They are the ones who seem more interested.  Try checking with antiquebottles.com.  THey are a nice bunch of people with some real expertise.
