Question
Paul,

When I was a young person, a neighbor would fix us a drink that was delicious.  I think it had orange juice, ginger ale and mint leaves.  I am not sure that is correct.  Ever drink anything like that.  The mint is what made it so good.
Thanks for your help.

Answer
Dear Karen:

It's funny --I hadn't really heard of this, but it sounds delicious.  Then I asked my mom, (she's 80+) and she remembered something similar from long ago.  She seems to think that you mix the Orange Juice and Soda about 50/50, then add the mint leaves.  What she does remember is that crushing the mint leaves gives out much more flavor, and that was a good thing.

But she didn't think it had a name, either.

Sorry I can't help more.  Maybe my mom should be the expert here!
