Question
i have a bottle of henri phillipe brandy v.s.o.p. it has a couple numbers on the bottem of the bottle they are 49*2246*19 then a G in a box 77. just wondering what the value of this item would be?

Answer
Hi Don

This should be a very nice bottle of brandy, because the VSOP is usually reserved for the top level product at any brandy house.  But it won't have appreciated a great deal in value.  Distilled spirits, because they are so high in alcohol, don't really change much in the bottle, either for better or for worse.

The good news is that this should taste very much like it did when it was bottled.  The bad news is that it isn't worth much more than any current bottling of the same kind.  I would estimate this one at $75 or so.

It might be of more interest to a bottle collector.  If you are interested in pursuing that, check with antiquebottle.com.  It's a great site with lots of information

Hope that helps. Sorry I can't give you more excitng news.
