Question
I have inherited a 1 pt. bottle of sealed, "Bols Ballerina Gold Liquer". It was distributed by the Jos. Garneau Co. of New York, probably in the 50's. It has gold flecks in the liquer. The baseof the bottle is a music box that plays The Blue Danube. There is a center chamber with a 2" high ballerina that dances. Does it have value?

Answer
Dear Connie:

Sorry--but the bottle doesn't have great value.  The liqueur, unlike some great wines, doesn't improve with age, so it won't have value for what is IN the bottle.

And the bottle itself is a curiosity, but you can find these on e-bay for about $50...

Sorry I don't more exciting news.
