Beverages/question of worth?

Question
I have 2 very old un-opened bottles, mint condition, and i'm wondering how
much they are worth.  the 1st is a very old bottle of B and B, no date on the
bottle, probably from the late 50's since other old bottles were from those
years.  the other is a bottle of JA's Hennessey & Co. Cognac.  same situation
as the first.  both have old markings on the labels and the bottle itself.
anyone have any ideas? thanks so much!

Answer
HI Garth

These bottles are very high in alcohol, and as a result, they don't change much with age, either for better or for worse.  It;s different with some fine wines...but not with these liqueurs or cognacs.  While they are perfectly fine to drink, they won't have appreciated much in value...I'd estimate something like $25-40 for the B&B, and the Cognace a bit more.  But nothing that is going to make your fortune.

If they were mine, I would open them on a special occasion over the holidays and share them with family and friends.

Sorry I can't be the bearer of more exciting news.
