Question
has apple vodka got to do something with potatoes?

Hi Kevin:

traditionally, Vodka was always made from potatoes, and then flavored with fruits or other flavorings.  These days, a lot of Vodka is made from grain, not potatoes...

But the apple part is a flavoring, not really a raw material for the Vodka.
