Hi-I hav a 4/5 quart of white horse blended scotch wiskey it is unopened I found it at a yardsale for $.50
it has a painted picture of a white horse on the front label printed in scotland
sale importers for the u s a for
brown vinters co ny
raised glass on the bottle "Federal law prohibits all or reuse of this bottle"
What do I have and what is its value
( My brother and I were going to open it for new years 2000 he had a sudden stroke and I lost him december 1999 so here it sits)

HI Akala

White Horse is a traditional blended Whiskey of ordinary quality.  Because whiskey has such a high level of alcohol, it doesn't improve (or deteriorate) with age in the bottle.  Because of this, it does not increase much in value.   It tastes now pretty much the way it did when you bought it, and it is probably worth less that $35 for the bottle.   

This is a perfectly good whiskey, and you can drink it as you would any other whiskey.
