Question
Hey Carmen! I have two questions I was hoping you can answer.
1. I was just watching "A Presumption of Innocence" and Brenda and Donna were in the main office and Donna says something about "an office servant" and then Brenda responded, "well mostly I deliver notes for Miss Teasley." So was Brenda on the SRC or something or why all of a sudden she had this job? Is there anything else Brenda does school-wise while she is in high school?
2. Is West Beverly High a private or public school? I've just always wondered this. On another show I watch their high school was private so I didn't know.
Sorry if I am bothering you. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Marissa,
To answer your first question, Brenda did work in the office, but it seemed like it was just in that one episode. It was not clear why she took the job. Brenda was involved in a lot of other activities in high school. She planned the "Pigskin Prom" in the episode where the football game against the inner-city school (Shaw) is cancelled due to a shooting. Brenda also helped organize fundraising and activities for the Alvarado St. Elementary School kids. She worked on the teen help line w/Andrea for one episode and helped a date rape victim get counseling. Brenda even thought she would be voted "Done Most for the Class" in the senior poll, and was devastated when she lost.

For your second question, West Bev High was a public school, but I can understand why it seemed like it was private because the only people that could go there had to live in the Bev Hills district.
I apologize for the delay in response. Hope this helps!
Carmen

Hi. 90210 is my absolute favorite show. I watch it at least twice a day, have my favorite episodes on tape, and can answer any question anyone has about the plot lines. Valerie, Brenda, and David are my favorite characters. I have met few people who love the show as much as I do. 90210 has been my salvation after a hard day, a way to kill boredom, and just pure pleasure. If you are curious about the character`s lives or little tidbits, feel free to ask me. I`ve been known to help people win trivia contests.
