Throughout the series, "I love you" was often exchanged in the relationships between Brenda and Dylan and similarly, Kelly and Brandon.  However, I can't recall or remember one instance where Kelly and Dylan exchanged "I love you"s.  Is this true?  He often tells her she's beautiful or sexy - but never "I love you".  Why do you think this is?  With all the passion and intensity in their relationship - is it really possible?

I apologize for the delay in response--I have been having trouble with my email and just got the question. Anyway, this is a really interesting question because I've never thought about it before. But, I think you're right! I remember Dylan telling Kelly she's "the one" and that they are soul mates a few times, and that he would "never leave her," but I can't recall a single scene where they say "I love you." This must have been a major oversight on the part of the writers, or maybe they figured their love was obvious and didn't need to be said flat out. Very perceptive on your part!
