Question
What happened with Brandon and Kelly in the last season?, they apparently get back together after Kelly lost her memory but I missed the last episodes of that season.  Did Steve get involved with the character played Hillary Swank?  Did Brenda and her parent's returned to the TV series? Thanks for your expert help.

Hi Maria,
After Kelly got her memory back, she and Brandon did get back together. But then Brandon cheated on Kelly with a writer (Emma) that did freelance work for the Beverly Beat. Kelly found out about it and dumped him immediately. But a few episodes later, she realized that she was still in love with Brandon and took him back. She still had major trust issues with him, and in the midst of an argument she blurted out that she just couldn't trust him. To end the argument, Brandon said "Marry me." By the next episode it was obvious to the fans that Brandon regretted asking Kelly to marry him because the he wasn't excited about the marriage and didn't write good vows for her. They made it all the way to the church, and right before they were about to walk down the aisle, both of them admitted to each other that they did not want to get married. So they stopped the wedding. At the start of the season 9, Kelly tried to get Brandon back but he didn't want her. Eventually Brandon took a job in DC and left the show. Brandon and Kelly seemed to be on good terms when he left.

Steve and Carly (Hillary Swank) did end up dating until she moved back to Montana (I think the actress was fired) and they wrote her out of the show.

The parents returned for a couple of episodes, like the one where Brandon was supposed to get married, but once Brandon left the show, the parents never came back. Brenda, sadly, never returned to the series after season 4.
