Beverly Hills 90210/Andrea's Goodbyes

Question
Hi Mel! I was wondering if you had the transcripts for Andrea's goodbyes from the episode, "Hello Life, Goodbye Beverly Hills"? I would like the one from when they go to West Beverly and of course the one last goodbye at the Peach Pit. If you only have one of those, that's ok. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Answer
Hi Kaelyn,

I'm going to give you Andrea's final goodbye scene first, and follow up tomorrow with the one at West Beverly.  Just didn't want you to think that I forgot.

Outside the Peach Pit, exiting their car.

Jesse: I ordered a bunch of sandwiches and some pie for the road.  You want anything else?
Andrea: Uh, coffee.  Tons of coffee.
J: Don't worry about it.  You can sleep your week off.
A: Only if Hannah lets me sleep.  Right, baby girl?
J: You'll let mama sleep, won't you?
A: Are you gonna let mama sleep?

Inside the Peach Pit.  Andrea spots the whole gang.

A: You guys are too much.
Steve: Andrea.
Brandon: Well, ya didn't think we were gonna let you get out of town without saying goodbye, now did ya?
A: HOW am I supposed to leave?
K: Because - you want to, remember?
A: (sigh) ... I never thought it was gonna be this hard.  Hey, Hannah, I want you to remember these faces, okay? Cause I am gonna be telling you all the stories of the things we did together.  The fun times, all the tears ... and I want you to tell your children and your children's children.
B: Great.  Countless generations are gonna know all our problems.
S: They're all lies, Hannah.  Don't listen to her.
A: Steve, you better be nice to me cause I have something in that diaper bag that you need VERY badly.
David: She saved you a dirty diaper!  (Kelly laughs)
A: No ... a term paper.
S: You did it!
A: Of course I did.  What, you thought I wasn't gonna come through for you?
S: No, actually.  I took what you said to heart and I did it myself.
A: Oh, you did? Well then I guess we can just throw that away.
S: (laughs) No.  Nooo, yours may be better.
B: MAY be better?  (Nat laughs)
S: It's thicker ...
Nat: Here, honey.  This is for you.  (gives present)
A: (lifting Hannah) Here, go on to daddy.  Oh, Nat, you shouldn't have.  But, you did.  (tears wrapping paper off) It's an old Peach Pit menu.
N: Read the inscription.
A: To Andrea - you've always been my favorite dish.  Love, Nat.  (Hug)
N: You'll always have a table here, darling.
A: Thank you.
N: You're welcome.
A: I'm gonna miss you guys so much.  I want you all to know how much you mean to me.  (Andrea starts her slow walk around to everyone in the circle)  ... David.  You were the best babysitter Hannah ever had, so you better come visit us.  Or she's never gonna forgive me.
David: I'll be there.  (Hug and Kiss)  Bye.
A: Bye.  (Her voice cracks.  Brandon and Steve look down.)  ... Donna, you remember that time at Magic Mountain when we were talking about the 'wild ride'?
Donna: Last two members of the Virgin Club.
A: Well I took the ride.  It was a little wilder than I thought.  (Andrea laughs, Jesse smiles)  You be proud of your decision.  (Hug)  And of your character.
D: Hey, I'm no saint.
A: Just the closest thing to one I know.  ... Now, you [Dylan] ... you saved my marriage.
Dylan: Oh, no.  You did that all by yourself.  I was just your friend.
A: The best.  (Kiss and Hug)  ... And Kelly, you were with me at the clinic when I made the hardest decision of my life.
K: You made the right one.
A: I know I did.  (Kiss and Hug) Go for the brass ring, Kelly.  Marry him.
K: I'll let you know ...
A: I feel like Dorothy leaving Oz. ... Steve, what can I say?  I love you.
S: I love you too, Andrea.  (Kiss and Hug)  I'll miss you.  ... My grades'll miss you.  (Andrea laughs)
A: (almost can't speak she's so full of tears) Brandon, you are my best friend.  And you always will be.  I'm gonna miss you.
B: I'll miss you too.  (Kiss and Hug, Andrea cries)  Go get 'em, Chief.  (Hug lingers)
J: Hey, Andrea?  We better get going.
A: Yep.  (Hug breaks) Gotta go.  Where's the food?
N: Oh, the food, the food. (Nat races to the counter)
A: 'Gotta have the food' ...

The gang walks out.  Next, we see them in a final huddle outside the Peach Pit like they did in "Chuckie's Back", S2.

S: We'll miss you, Andrea.  Miss you, too, Jess.

A medley of voices as Andrea/Jesse get in the car.

J: Take care of yourself.
David: See ya later, Andrea.
Donna: Bye ... Love you.
David: Take care, Jess.
Kelly: Call me.
B: Drive safely, guys.
K: Bye ...

Donna waves.  Kelly gives the 'call me' signal.  Brandon and David give quick waves, Nat a 'thumbs up' sign, and Dylan playfully walks into Steve.  Donna and Kelly hold hands.  Nat goes inside.  The camera moves across the cast as the truck continues to drive away.

Daydreaming out her car window to the song "Remember", by Harry Nilsson, Andrea has a flashback to a scene with her and Brandon in the Blaze office, her and Donna at Magic Mountain, and her and Steve cracking up at Graduation.  Then, to her throwing her graduation cap into the air as the rest of the class follows suit.

Steve decides to turn in his own paper.

Thanks for the question!

All the best,

Mel

And here is the scene from when Andrea revisits West Beverly High.

Andrea: (Getting out of the car) You are - this is unbelievable!  (continues to look around) Oh, I can't believe it. (Jesse hands her Hannah) Hi, Hannah.  This is where mommy went to school ...
Jesse: Your mom was not only the smartest girl in the school, she was also the prettiest.
A: Aw, daddy says that to all the girls.
Overhead Announcement: It's not too late to take that SAT Prep course now and it's never too late to ask that somebody special to tomorrow night's big West Beverly Prom.
-----
David, Claire, Donna, Steve, Kelly, and Mrs. Teasley are all present by the time Andrea strolls onto that part of campus.

A: You guys ... this ... this is unbelievable.
Steve: Well, we just figured we'd come back to where it all began.  (Andrea hugs Kelly and Donna.  Steve shakes Jesse's hand.)  Hey, Jess.
A: Back in high school, before I had a life, this is where I spent all my waking hours.
J: Oh, yeah?
Mrs. T: Andrea.
A: Mrs. Teasley!  (Hug) How are you?
Mrs. T: I'm just wonderful.  ... So introduce me to this beautiful daughter of yours.
A: This is Hannah Rose.
Mrs. T: She's perfect.
A: And this is my husband, Jesse Vasquez.
Mrs. T: It's a pleasure to meet you.
J: Likewise.
-----
Donna: So where's Brandon and Dylan?
Kelly: I don't know.  I don't think they're gonna show up.
D: Are you kidding?  How can they do this to Andrea?
A: (approaching) You guys, now I know why you kept this a secret.  (Hugs Kelly and Donna again) Thank you.
K: Well, don't look now, but another surprise is heading your way.
S: Andrea Zuckerman, this is your life! (Turns her towards Gil)
Gil Myers: Andrea ... (Hug)
A: Gil Myers, what are you doing here?
David: He works here.
GM: I heard you were heading off to Yale.
A: Yeah.  Can you believe it?  And it's all his fault. (Points to Jesse)
GM: You must be Jesse.
J: Heard a lot about you, Gil.  Pleasure.  (shake hands)
A: This is our daughter, Hannah.
GM: Hey! She is beautiful ... You know, if you have an hour or two, I could show you pictures of MY baby boy.
A: Great!  I'd love to see them.
Mrs. T: I always remembered this class with a special fondness.
S: Even me, Mrs. Teasley?
Mrs. T: Oh, especially you, Steve.  (laugh) Since you spent more time in my office than anybody else.

David and Donna walk back in, with bags.

David: Alright, everybody.  Hold on, cause we got a special presentation to make.
Donna: Yes, we couldn't let you and Hannah go to Yale without proper attire ... So, we have mommy and baby sweatshirts from C.U.
A: (laughs) Oh, this is great.  Look at that.
Donna: And mommy and baby West Beverly High T-shirts.
A: Aw, you guys ... perfect.
David: We just wanted to make sure you remember where you came from.
A: I'll never forget that.  And I'll never forget you guys.
S: We've known each other for a long time, Zuckerman.
A: We sure have.  West Bev, 9th grade, Ms. Brewster's class.
S: Oh, boy.
A: (laughs) Remember?
S: Oh, yeah.  It was the first time I ever got a 'B'.  In English, anyway.  Don't think I could've done that without your help, Andrea.  Who's gonna write my papers now?
A: Guess you'll have to.
S: NOT!  I think I'll just have Brandon do them.  (laughs)
David: Oh, where is Brandon and Dylan, by the way?  I thought for sure they would be here.
K: Yeah, Brandon really wanted to come but with his family moving and ... everything ... (walks off).
A: (coming towards her) Kel, I know what's going on.  He called me last night and told me everything.  So what're you gonna do?
K: (sigh) I wish I knew.  (Hug)

Ray Pruitt shows up.

Donna: Ray, you came.  (Hug)
Ray: Talked me into it.
Donna: Look, everybody.  Look who's here.
Clare: Thrilling.
David: Gee, if we're lucky maybe he brought his guitar and he'll serenade us all.
S: Hey, Ray.
R: Hey. (shakes hands) Well, good luck, Andrea.
A: Thanks, Ray.
K: Can I get you a piece of Donna's chocolate cake?
R: Nah, that's alright, uh ... we can't stay long.
Donna: What do you mean?  "We" just got here.
R: Well, when you're done, I'll give you a ride home.
Donna: Actually, Kelly, Clare, and I were planning on going over to Andrea's after the party.
A: Kind of like a final meeting of the Peach Pit Sorority before I take off for the Ivy League.
R: I see. Busy schedule.  I'll see you around.  (Storms off)
Donna: Ray ... I, uh ... I gotta go.

[Donna and Ray fight by his car until the scene ends]

All the best,

Mel

Can Dylan solve quadratic equations? What makes up a "mega-burger"? If an answer exists, I probably know it. Whether your question is general, begging the context of all 10 seasons, or completely inane, feel free to drop me a line either way. I will provide episode reference numbers for each response and plan to have some fun with this. Trivia quizzes often need correction, and publications will get their plotlines/characters/relationships mixed up too. I accept dialogue/scene requests, but please limit your inquiry to 1-2 per question. I only know music from the original broadcasts/reruns, not the DVDs. Been a fan since 1990 and didn't miss a beat.

Experience

Well, I began watching "Beverly Hills, 90210" at the tender age of 9 and a half, during its original run. By 11, I was a huge fan; 13, obsessed; 14, growing bitter. I don't like S6 - S10 as much as Seasons 1 - 5. But, technically, I still watch all of them in some way. Do this for 20 years and you'll remember the darndest things.

Education/Credentials
I'd like to say I've earned a "degree" on the life and times of the original eight, with specific concentration on Seasons 1 thru 5, any Jack McKay drama, Dylan/Kelly together or apart, and the guest stars of 1992-1994. Season 4, I think, was the best and strikingly different from any other. My only weakness might be later-season 'stand-in' characters like Matt and Noah, and the ever-changing ownerships of The AfterDark.
