Beverly Hills 90210/Brenda/Dylan ... towel?

Question
Hello! Wondering if you can help resolve a bet. I recall there being an episode where Brenda and Dylan were going to do it for the first time and she walks into the room and puts a towel on the bed and says something like, "it's my first time." My friend thinks I'm confusing 90210 with Circle of Friends, but I strongly feel like there was an awkward towel moment ... do you remember any such scene???

Answer
Hi Lucky,
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I watched the episode again and have to agree with your friend. :) Brenda and Dylan plan to do it for the first time in the Palm Springs episode in season 1. When Brenda meets Dylan at his hotel room, she is angered and hurt to find that he is hanging out with another girl, fully clothed (an old friend). She paces around the hotel for a few minutes and then goes back to the room. She throws the girl and her purse out of the room. She yells at Dylan for having someone else with him, and he insists that nothing happened with the girl. Brenda then says they should just "get it over with" because "I'm a normal female, you're a normal male, you have needs, I have needs, let's just do it!" Dylan hesitates, so Brenda says, "stop talking and take off your clothes." The scene ends there. So there is no specific "towel" moment. BUT, I think I understand the confusion because Dylan does have a towel in his hand during the scene and there is a bed. :)

Hope this helps!

Hi. 90210 is my absolute favorite show. I watch it at least twice a day, have my favorite episodes on tape, and can answer any question anyone has about the plot lines. Valerie, Brenda, and David are my favorite characters. I have met few people who love the show as much as I do. 90210 has been my salvation after a hard day, a way to kill boredom, and just pure pleasure. If you are curious about the character`s lives or little tidbits, feel free to ask me. I`ve been known to help people win trivia contests.
