I was wondering if you could tell me why Donna and Joe broke up I have been watching the reruns again and I missed that epiosode why they broke up...

Hi Julie,
After Joe has the heart problem and surgery, the coach decides that he would no longer be the starting quarterback for the CU team. Joe gets an offer to move back to Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania to be a football coach himself for his old high school. He asks Donna to marry him and move back there with him. Donna loves Joe, but she turns him down because she doesn't want to sacrifice her own dreams and move away. So Joe leaves by himself and they don't really talk about him again.
