I have never seen the very last episode! Please tell me what happens.  I want to know what happened to the whole gang. Thanks

Answer
Hello Patti,

I used the description provided by TV.com for "The Penultimate/Ode To Joy" series finale and rewrote it in my own words. Here you go:

Donna is reluctant to accept David's marriage proposal. However, after talking with Janet, she accepts. Dylan gets a degree in Humanities from California University. Matt is conflicted about wanting to stay in BH with Kelly or returning to New York to help his sister-in-law raise her child (from his sperm donation) after his brother's death. Kelly's unresolved feelings for Dylan cause her to call off her engagement to Matt. He thinks it's because Dylan told her how he had sex with another woman while under the influence of accidently ingested drugs during his trip to the desert with Dylan. Kelly is upset that Dylan kept that information from her. Janet learns that she will have to compete for the editor job of Nouveau, when she thought it was already hers. Steve's bond with his daughter deepens and Janet feels left out. Ellen wants Noah to commit to her for the sake of her daughter. However, he feels the relationship is moving too fast for him and declines.

David and Donna go into overdrive planning their wedding with the help of their friends. While going over the guest list, they consider postponing until a later date. However, they decide they don't want to wait even if that means all loved ones will not be present. Due to her father's death, Donna asks Nat to walk her down the aisle. Steve informs Kelly that Matt has decided to move to New York. Kelly apologizes to Dylan and asks for time to grieve over her broken engagement. Janet gets the editor job, but is concerned the job's hours will cause her to miss important life events for her daughter. Steve talks her into turning down the editor job and start a new magazine with him where they can set their own hours. Andrea, Valerie, and Mrs. Teasley are among the guests at Donna's bachelorette party which includes a racy version of the game "pin the tail on the donkey" supplied by Val. At David's bachelor party, the stripper Ryan hired turns out to be a transvestite and Steve reads a poem that mentions most of the women David had been in a relationship with. Both parties also include a videotaped message from Brandon. Kelly and Dylan read poetry selections at the wedding as Maid of Honor and Best Man respectively. Matt shows up, but leaves after hearing the readings. David and Donna recite their own vows and are married. Matt shows up at the reception and tells Kelly he can finally see the connection between her and Dylan courtesy of their poetry selections. He tells her goodbye and leaves for New York. Noah has a change of heart and decides to give Ellen a commitment. Kelly catches the bouquet. Dylan asks Kelly to dance, but says it can wait. Kelly says she doesn't want to wait and they kiss. On the dance floor, the wedding party is together in a group like in Season 1's "Spring Dance" episode and the show fades to black.

Note: If you have access to the channel Soapnet, the episode "The Penultimate" is scheduled to air August 15 at 6PM. "Ode To Joy" is scheduled to air August 18 at 5PM.

Take care,
Crystal

Expertise

I have seen all 10 seasons of 90210 and have every episode on tape to locate answers. My expertise is on the first 6 seasons and the characters Brenda and Dylan, but I will attempt to answer any question pertaining to the show. Please no scene/dialogue questions because they are very time-consuming and frustrating. However, I will be happy to clarify misunderstood dialogue due to whispering and such if I'm able to. I will attempt to answer any song question for the original airdates and syndication. NO DVD SONG QUESTIONS PLEASE. Please see my "Life Experience" in my profile for song question updates, it may pertain to your question.

Experience

I have every single episode on tape to find the answers. I watched and taped the show religiously. (All requests for copies of my videotapes/episodes will be declined.)
Update: The song used in "Crunch Time" during David's meth addiction is "Living In A Fantasy" by The Rainbow Band. Many thanks to the fellow 90210 Fan that contacted me with the info when they tracked it down. Also, the song used in "One Wedding and a Funeral" that Dylan & Toni dance to is "Nobody Knows Me" by Lyle Lovett. Same song is used during the scene where Dylan is crying while holding the wedding dress and then kitten. David & Donna's wedding song is "Spend My Life With You" by Eric Benet & Tamia. Same song was Steve & Janet's wedding song.
