Question
My friend and I have a dispute. He says that in one episode the gang went to see an REM show. I didn't watch too many episodes once Brenda left, but I don't think that REM ever played at the Pit-those were more up-in-coming bands. Thanks for your help

Well, technically your friend is right (sorry) but your memory isn't totally off. In the episode "Down and Out of District in Beverly Hills" from season 2 where Andrea moves in with her grandmother, Steve, his date, and David do all go to an REM concert. But, your memory is correct in that the concert was somewhere downtown (not at the Peach Pit club) since Steve took a limo to get there. REM never played at the Peach Pit After Dark.
