Expertise
I can answer literally every question that you have about "Beverly Hills, 90210." - especially regarding seasons 1-7. I have them all on tape as I have been recording this show since I was 9 years old. I know the lives of the characters inside and out - go ahead.. try me!

Experience
I have been recording this show on VHS since I was nine years old. I have seen every episode at least ten times, sometimes more. In most cases (seasons 1-7 especially) I can quote entire scenes. I have every episode on tape and can easily point out differences between original broadcasts and the episodes on the DVDs. Playinthesurf

Beverly Hills 90210 - DVD sets

Question
Thank you for your quick response to my last question!  I am wanting to purchase seasons 1-10 on DVD, but I want the original episodes with original music, not the newly released edited sets.  I have found several sets online, but am not sure if the are bootlegs copies or even if I should trust the seller.  Two sites I have found are http://dvdmediauniverse.com/product.php?id=933150 and http://www.jsdvdcollections.com/BEVERLY-HILLS-90210-DVD-COLLECTION.html  Are you familiar with either of these sellers or know a reliable source to purchase the original seasons.
Thank you!

Answer
I don't know those sellers, but they are probably the same sets as I have (usually there is like one copy that circulates between sellers).  They will definitely be bootleg as the only dvds that aren't are the lame ones for sale.  I bought some on sell.com (the whole season for about $80) and I am satisfied with my purchase. The quality is not perfect, but the thing that annoys me the most is that they are not original FOX recordings - they are the syndicated versions which would be ok except that they are from SOAP net with the weird commercial break placements, but oh well. They still have the original music, they are cheaper, and in my mind, way better than spending a fortune on the lame censored box sets.
